Little Arendelle (Ages 2 - 10)

Join us on December 1st where the Little Studio on the Square will be transformed into a winter wonderland, complete with a visit from the “Snow Sisters” themselves – Elsa and Anna! After coming to Arlington straight from Arendelle, Elsa and Anna will engage in a fun afternoon of Frozen songs and dance with your little Princes & Princesses. Your child will be able to build THEIR very own snowman craft and will enjoy a small Frozen themed snack. Finally, your child will be transformed right before your eyes during their “Prince or Princess transformation” where they will be able to choose a couture princess gown or couture prince costume from Your Fairy Godmother to wear for their private photo shoot with Elsa and Anna. Each child will be crowned a Prince or Princess and will leave with their very own crystal tiara or crown keepsake. It is sure to be a magical time and you don’t want to miss it. Reserve your tickets today as this event has very limited seating. (Ages starting at 5)

Drawing from Life with Erin

I am a current art student at Washington University in St. Louis, and the biggest lesson I have learned for improving my art is learning how to see. The brain simplifies lines and angles, and it’s easy to think you see something when in reality it is more complex than the original observation. My goal is to teach the class how to see lines and angles, to notice subtleties that make drawing the object easier. This may sound difficult and scary, but I have learned from some amazing professors and can make this process easier. If you are interesting in improving your drawing skills and want to learn some tips and tricks, this is the class for you!

First Day of School Chalkboard Class

Come learn the basics of hand lettering with local Calligrapher Shelby Vafinis of Pearl and Rose Designs. Attendees will receive hand lettering packets with the theme focused on the new school year and a Chalk Ink brand marker to take home and use during the workshop.

The two hour workshop will review various fonts and styles of hand lettering. It will also provide attendees with time to practice their new skills before they choose a theme for their own First Day chalkboard to create.

Each person will be given their own white chisel tip Chalk Ink marker to take home. Attendees will need to provide their own chalkboard for this event and are welcome to bring other colors and size or style of chalk markers of their choosing.
